Parks and Gardens Labourers
Council is seeking to appoint Parks and Gardens Labourers to contribute to Council's success.
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support Council's direction by undertaking a wide range of maintenance in horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, mowing, playgrounds, public amenities, litter collection, infrastructure and plant operation as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the maintenance of Council's parks, reserves and urban streetscapes in accordance with Council's priorities and standards.
We are offering a variety of work patterns, across various locations in the Gladstone Region, including:
* Permanent full time - Boyne Island, Gladstone.
* Maximum term full time (until January 2027) – Tondoon Botanic Gardens.
* Casual – various.

You will bring:
* Labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient skills and experience using technical devices.
* Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.

To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have applicable working rights.
This position requires immunisation against Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus.
