Position Overview
As a Vice President in our talented Investment Banking team, you will play an integral role in executing transactions and providing financial advisory services for clients across Australia.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, develop key relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth and success of our investment banking practice in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Work on projects alongside high-performing bankers across sectors within General Industrials and Financial Sponsors coverage teams, providing you with a unique learning opportunity
* Collaborate with senior team members in deal origination, structuring and negotiation
* Drive the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial transactions
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support transaction execution
* Develop impactful presentation materials and participate in client meetings
* Build your professional network through live transaction experience and contributing to the team's origination effort
* Assist the team with delivering solutions to clients leveraging full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
* Manage junior bankers day-to-day across marketing and execution
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
* Minimum six year's of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields
* Highly driven, self-starter, detail-oriented, diligent with excellent analytical and communication skills
* Well-versed in M&A and a proven track record of leading the execution of transactions
* Ability to interact comfortably with our business clients and management
