The Role
We are seeking a full-time Content and Social Media Coordinator to lead content creation and social media execution across our flagship venues. This is not a traditional Monday to Friday, nine to five role. Our venues come alive at night and on weekends, and this role is designed to reflect that.
You will spend less time at a desk and more time in venue, capturing content as it happens. This may mean swapping a Monday morning for a Saturday night service, attending events, or being on site during key dining moments to capture the energy, atmosphere, and detail that define our restaurants.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can capture beautiful content in real time, and can translate brand and marketing initiatives into compelling social storytelling. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure social activity complements wider brand and campaign objectives.
Monthly travel to Brisbane is required to support OTTO Brisbane and capture content on site.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
* Capture high-quality photo and video content on site across OTTO Sydney, OTTO Brisbane, and Bennelong
* Be present in venue during key services, events, and moments to capture authentic, real-time content
* Create short-form and long-form content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
* Edit content for social platforms using Canva and other editing software
* Develop creative concepts and pitch new content ideas that feel culturally relevant and on brand
Social Media Strategy and Execution
* Translate marketing and brand initiatives into complementary social media strategies that run in parallel with campaigns
* Develop and manage weekly social content calendars across all venues
* Lead the launch and growth of TikTok channels for our venues
* Stay across social and cultural trends to ensure Fink Group remains a leader in the hospitality space
Community Management
* Manage day-to-day community engagement across social channels
* Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
* Build and nurture loyal online communities around each venue
Performance and Optimisation
* Leverage insights, analytics, and creative testing to optimise content performance
* Support paid social activity where required, working closely with the wider marketing team
* Use platform tools and trends to continually refine content and approach
Collaboration
* Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to support broader campaigns and brand storytelling
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and venue teams to capture timely and relevant content
About You
* Proven experience in social media and content creation, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands
* Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in line with venue operations
* Confident capturing and editing content across photo and video
* Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook, with experience launching or growing social channels highly regarded
* Creative, proactive, and confident pitching new ideas
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple venues and priorities
* Strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for detail
* Confident using Canva and basic video editing tools
