Position: Senior Administration Officer (Full‐time, Hobart or Launceston)
About the opportunity
The Senior Administration Officer plays a pivotal role within the School of Psychological Sciences, the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, and the discipline of Social Work. The role provides seamless, proactive administrative support to ensure teaching and learning objectives are met, delivering a positive experience for students and staff.
What you'll do
* Collaborate with academic and professional staff and students to uphold high‐level learning and teaching operations.
* Consult with and provide advice and guidance on University and School policies and procedures.
* Work closely with the Learning and Teaching Coordinator to support the Curriculum Management System.
* Use University systems to collect, analyse, and integrate data, and produce reports for School use.
* Co‐ordinate employment administration and student‐experience events in partnership with the School Coordinator.
What we're looking for
* Extensive administrative experience and a proven ability to initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate processes.
* Experience in a University or similar environment, or knowledge of University operations, policies, systems and procedures, with a track record of quickly adapting within a complex organisation.
* Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills, able to build effective working relationships at all levels.
* Strong written and analytical skills, able to extract and analyse information from multiple sources, solve problems, and think flexibly to develop solutions.
* A history of applying a growth mindset and contributing positively to a culture of team and individual excellence.
Salary details
Appointment will be at HEO 5. The remuneration package is up to $105,665, comprising a base salary of $80,869–$90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
