The role
* As a Consultant / Specialist Anaesthetist, you will deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a broad case mix (elective and emergency)
* Support the Clinical Director with service planning, patient safety, and quality improvement
* Teach and supervise Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, JMOs and Interns
* Contribute to research, audit, and multidisciplinary service development
Scope of practice
* The Anaesthetics Department provides services for orthopaedics, trauma, general surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics
* ENT, dental, ECT and endoscopy
* Pre-assessment clinic, acute pain service, obstetric epidural service
* Trauma and cardiac arrest team support

About you
* FANZCA or ANZCA SIMG assessment: Substantially Comparable
* Broad anaesthesia experience, including emergency and paediatrics
* Collaborative team player with strong leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to patient safety, continuous improvement, and teaching
