We're seeking an Occupational Therapist to contribute to the evaluation process by implementing delegated assessments and providing verbal and written reports of observation.
The successful candidate will provide therapeutic interventions to youth and families in both individual and group settings, collaborating with them to develop a comprehensive Occupational Therapy treatment plan.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify sensory processing challenges and implement sensory diets and/or environmental adaptation as indicated.
* Provide therapeutic interventions to youth and families in both individual and group settings.
* Demonstrate knowledge about evaluation results and provide input into the intervention plan, based on each youth's needs and priorities.
* Provide training and assistance with the development of community integration, instrumental activities of daily living, and activities of daily living skills.
Qualifications
* Must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapist and national board certification.
* Previous experience working with youth and young adults with mental health challenges is required.
* A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history are also necessary.
