Staff Specialist Psychiatrist – Child & Youth Townsville, Queensland

Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking Staff Specialist Psychiatrists to join our Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Service (CAYAS). These senior roles provide clinical leadership across community, early intervention, outreach and telehealth teams within a well‑resourced tertiary mental health service.
Multiple positions are available as part of ongoing service growth.

Your role
Lead clinical care across CAYAS teams
Provide assessment, case management and evidence-based interventions
Support innovative, culturally responsive models of care
Teach and supervise trainees and mental health clinicians
Contribute to service development, quality improvement and on‑call rosters
Flexible full‑time or part‑time arrangements are available, with negotiable hours to support work‑life balance.
