This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will take ownership of payroll across our corporate and franchise network, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong governance in a fast‐paced, multi‐site environment.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across our corporate and franchise operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant and on‐time payroll processing, managing payroll systems and controls, overseeing statutory compliance, and leading our Payroll Officer. You will play a key role in maintaining governance standards while supporting our continued franchise growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll (weekly/fortnightly/monthly)
* Interpret Awards and ensure Fair Work compliance
* Oversee superannuation (including contractor obligations), PAYG, payroll tax and STP reporting
* Manage leave, commissions, terminations and reconciliations
* Oversee payroll enquiries and service standards
* Maintain payroll systems, controls and documentation
* Lead and develop the Payroll Officer
About You
* Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in Australia
* Strong knowledge of Awards, Superannuation Guarantee (including contractor super), PAYG and payroll tax
* Experience supervising payroll staff
* High attention to detail and strong governance mindset
* Experience in multi‐site or franchise environments highly regarded
