The role involves guiding the service desk team, contributing to IT strategy, and ensuring the effective management of IT infrastructure and support services. 
Guide service desk team and delegate tasks. 
Contribute to IT strategy development. 
Ensure IT contractors meet obligations; provide hands-on support. 
Administer, maintain, and develop servers for optimum performance and high availability. 
Maintain quality of desktop support for end users. 
Configure and verify backups and business continuity solutions. 
Design networks and servers for current and future needs. 
Procure and receive technology goods. 
Manage mobile devices and maintain asset register. 
Consult with internal departments on solutions. 
Manage phone system hardware and configurations.

Educational Requirements 
IT degree or relevant experience 
Networking and switch configuration skills 
Knowledge of VMware vSphere and backups 
Software license management skills 
Experience with SSO integration and identity providers 
O365 administration experience 
Working knowledge of firewall and router technologies

Additional Requirements 
Project management experience 
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks 
Understanding of cabling standards
