About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team at Noarlunga Community Children's Centre's as an Assistant Director.
This part-time position, based in Morphett Vale, plays a critical role in supporting the Centre Director to drive operational excellence and ensure high-quality outcomes for children, families, and staff.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting the Centre Director in the overall leadership and management of the Centre.
Collaborating effectively with the Director, Governing Council, and broader leadership team across both campuses.
Supporting the implementation of the Centre's educational program to ensure alignment with the National Quality Standards.
Contributing to the development and review of Centre policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Overseeing daily Centre operations, including staffing, programming, and resource management.
Building positive, professional relationships with children, families, and the local community.
Mentoring educators and supporting ongoing professional development within the team.
Ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality frameworks.
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Minimum of two years' experience in a senior or leadership role within the early childhood sector.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework with the capability to implement it effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.
Ability to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and the broader community.

Noarlunga Community Children's Centre, located on Windsong Court in Morphett Vale, has been a valued part of the community since ****.
We are an 80-place, community-based, not-for-profit service providing high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to school age.
The Centre operates as part of a dual-campus structure alongside our 51-place Noarlunga Centre service.
Directors and Assistant Directors across both sites work closely with the Governing Council and leadership team to ensure cohesive, high-quality operations.
