MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Capability and Enablement Lead K-12. This is a permanent full-time chance with a 2pt Coordinator allowance commencing Term 1, 2026.

The Capability and Enablement Lead K-12 is responsible for cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous learning across the College. This role drives the strategic vision for professional development, talent progression, and instructional leadership to enhance educational outcomes and staff capability.

Specific Criteria

- Be highly skilled in engaging with education professionals and supporting them on their career growth
- Have a strong familiarity with the NESA accreditation process
- Oversee teacher practicums and supporting early career teachers
- Have experience in leading staff and the development of collaborative coaching initiatives
- Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the College.
- Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
- Highly effective in managing and facilitating protected and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student and staff welfare practices
- Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
- Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
- Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
