Electrician - Solar Farm Maintenance
* $68.25 p/h flat rate + daily travel allowances
* Located in Balranald, NSW
* Roster 8/6 and on commencement it will be 4/3 while in training

What you will be doing:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced electrician to work for our client based in Balrandald, NSW on a Solar Farm. This role involves performing routine and reactive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability of solar PV systems.
Key Duties Include:
* Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including inverters, switchgear, transformers, and cabling.
* Diagnose and repair faults in solar PV arrays, monitoring systems, and associated equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM and site-specific schedules.
* Support system upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning of new equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
* Adhere to site safety protocols, electrical standards, and environmental regulations.
* Respond to operational issues and alarms, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with the operations team to optimize energy output and site efficiency.
What you will need:
* Drivers licence and reliable transport
* Licensed Electrician (NSW) with relevant trade certification.
* Experience working with high-voltage (HV) systems and solar PV technology is highly regarded, but not essential.
