We're looking for an experienced Optical Assistant or Dispenser to join our team.
While some optical experience is required, we're happy to train the right person who has been in the industry and is ready to grow their skills.
What you'll do: Dispense completed spectacles and adjust frames Assist with bookings, payments, and claims (private health/Medicare) Maintain displays and ensure practice areas are welcoming and tidy Provide exceptional patient care and support a friendly team environment What we're looking for: Previous experience in optical or related industry Experience with Sunix practice management system is ideal A team player who enjoys a community focused, relationship driven practice Hours: Part time - 4.5 days/week, Tuesday to Saturday, up to 32hrs or job-share: flexible options available, including alternate Saturdays Opportunities for additional hours may arise Perks: Supportive "friends and family" culture No KPIs - focus is on quality care Off street parking in a secure location Opportunities to develop your skills in a hands on role If you're experienced in optical work, love helping people, and thrive in a welcoming, supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you
