We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Social Purpose Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting current and former Defence personnel and their families.
Based in our North Coast Veteran and Family Hub, Tweed Heads, you will be working with a dynamic team who are passionate about creating positive change in the community.
The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, marketing, social media, community service liaison, and customer facing roles. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships internally and externally.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of Australian Defence Force personnel and their needs
* Show evidence of experience in one or more of the following areas: event management, social media & marketing, community and/or welfare services
* Possess highly developed communication skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and problem solve
Additional qualifications such as Cert IV in Community Services would be highly regarded.
