What You Will Be Doing
* Lead the development and implementation of effective complex high-level strategies and integration approaches relating to evidence generation and dissemination - spanning evaluation, research, economics, and implementation science.
* Lead and promulgate the application of evidence in key ACI programs including the pipeline of innovation, models of care and innovation in patient care across NSW.
* Lead the development and integration of a consultancy model for evidence-based products and services that inform decision makers across NSW Health and government in a timely way.
* Provide high level expert advice and strategic direction to the Executive Director InSITE, Chief Executive, ACI Executive team, Ministry of Health and key stakeholders.
* Lead and develop the capability of multidisciplinary teams through coaching and advising staff, ensuring performance goals are met, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
* Manage and develop effective partnerships and productive working relationships with diverse key stakeholders including, but not limited to, ACI Clinical Networks, Ministry of Health, Pillar organisations, local health districts, and national and international academic groups and experts.
* Lead the adoption of innovative evidence generation techniques throughout the directorate.

What You Will Be Doing (continued)
The Associate Director, Research, Evaluation and Economics leads a dynamic portfolio that encompasses the organisation\'s consultancy, implementation science, evaluation, and health economics functions. The position plays a fundamental role in ACI\'s contribution to the evidence ecosystem within ACI, NSW Health, nationally and internationally - and in the translation of evidence into intelligence for key decision-makers.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Intelligence and Support for Innovation, Transformation & Evaluation (InSITE), the Associate Director plays a key role in the ACI leadership team and provides high-level executive and strategic advice, direction, and support on all accountabilities within the InSITE team/directorate and in meeting the broader organisation strategic outcomes.

Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as health and social sciences, evaluation and/or significant experience working in a senior Health management position with extensive knowledge of the challenges in the NSW public health system.
* Demonstrated understanding of evaluation approaches, evidence generation, collation, synthesis, analysis and integration.
* Significant track record of achievement in the development and production of evidence-based products and relevant processes to ensure provision and integration of such products in a consultancy model.
* Proven achievement in the development and successful implementation of strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, strategically improve performance, and manage multiple projects across a broad portfolio.
