We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Claim Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and be able to manage a high volume of claims in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a caseload of claims, including disability management aspects within legislation or policy;
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to progress strategies and actions;
* Assessing liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy;
* Undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments;
* Proactively managing rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines;
* Conducting health promotion activities to enhance customers wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery;
Requirements include:
* Demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced environment;
* High attention to detail;
* Insurance experience OR Tertiary studies in Business, Commerce or Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Science);
* Excellent computer literacy skills;
* Resilience;
* The willingness to learn;
