Browns Piling is a rapidly growing piling contractor in retention and foundation piling principles, known for delivering reliable, technically sound piling solutions across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking a talented and experienced intermediate to senior engineer with a background in structural or foundation engineering who can help shape the future of our in-house engineering team.
As a key member of the engineering team you will play a key role in transforming tender-stage design allowances into complete, buildable engineering packages.
Your work will directly influence project outcomes—from initial concept through to construction.
You will collaborate with project principal engineers and engage with some of the most respected structural and geotechnical professionals in the Victorian and Australian landscape.
The suitable candidate would have minimum 2 years experience as a consulting engineer with Autocad experience highly looked upon.
This role involves the design and production of piling engineering drawings for piling and foundation systems, contributing directly to projects that move from concept to construction.
You will work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with geotechnical conditions.
This is an opportunity to see your engineering work realised in the field.

Contribute to continuous improvement in design workflows and documentation standards
Assist delivery teams with design queries and solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
2–4 years of structural engineering experience
Proficiency in Structural Toolkit, AutoCAD, and Excel.
Wallap or Plaxis 2D experience or exposure looked upon favourably.
Willingness to learn and adapt skills to a new direction.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Interest in foundation engineering and ground-structure interaction
What We Offer
A supportive and technically driven team environment
Projects that progress from design to delivery—your work will be built
Opportunities for professional development in both structural and geotechnical domains
A chance to work in an environment where your designs will come to life from conception to installation.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team environment and benefit from direct guidance from two senior engineers—one with extensive experience in geotechnical engineering and the other in structural design.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop technical skills across disciplines while working closely with experienced professionals who are actively involved in day-to-day project delivery.
It's an ideal setting for engineers who value hands-on learning and professional development within a supportive, well-connected team.
