Housekeeping Services Assistant (Utility) About the Role
As a Housekeeping Services Assistant, you'll be part of a dedicated team that helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for older South Australians living in our aged care homes. Your attention to detail and care will directly impact the comfort and wellbeing of residents making their home feel truly like home.
The role of the Housekeeping Services Assistant (Utility) is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for residents, with all requirements met in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
What You'll Be Doing
* Start your day with a team briefing and connect with caring colleagues
* Clean and maintain outdoor areas, such as courtyard
* Assist in moving residents rooms, as and when required
* Schedule maintenance activities
* Routine shampooing of carpets
* Site inductions of new employees
* Linen movement throughout site
* Work as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit
* Complete reporting and documentation based on UnitingSA policy and procedure
