Role Overview
As a Commercial Specialist for DCS in APAC, you will support business growth by advising stakeholders on commercial best practice, managing day‐to‐day commercial support, leading commercial negotiation, and ensuring compliance with policies and contracts.
Responsibilities
* Educate, influence, and advise key stakeholders on commercial best practice to drive long‐term growth and profitability.
* Act as subject‐matter expert on DCS commercial agreements (terms, risk, compliance, cost control, liabilities, milestones) and collaborate with business SMEs and legal team.
* Lead commercial negotiations, attend customer meetings, review sessions, and deliver reporting and commercial training.
* Support transition of new wins by educating operational and procurement teams on risk management, change management, and best practices.
* Ensure compliance with GWS contracting standards, business unit policies, and supplier engagement best practice.
* Provide commercial solutions to minimise risk and maximise opportunities, analysing circumstances, articulating options and influencing decisions.

* Clear scope, obligations, and strong customer relationships.
* Mitigated risks, maximised profits, reduced disputes, and promoted positive behavior.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree or higher in a related discipline.
* Minimum five years of commercial experience, particularly contract management in facilities management or related service providers.
* Sales‐focused negotiation skills and experience in a regional or global organisation.
* Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and problem‐solving ability.
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
* Understanding of local law and contractual compliance; knowledge of data centre sector beneficial.
* Education/training in contract law advantageous.
