Job Description
* Lead and manage product development projects from concept to launch within the high risk food industry.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production.
* Ensure all product development processes align with industry standards and company objectives.
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
* Identify market trends and opportunities to drive innovation and competitiveness.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the product development team.
* Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior PD Manager should have:
* Proven experience in product development within the food industry.
* Educational qualifications in Food Science or a related field.
* Strong people leadership (managing a team of 3) and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Deep understanding of product lifecycle and market trends.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and quality.
