The Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to work internally within a tax team on a 12‑month contract (with possible extension). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a large, professional team, is highly experienced with Xero, and has a strong interest in technology and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the tax, accounting and advisory teams, providing reliable and high‑quality bookkeeping support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* End‑to‑end bookkeeping using Xero
* Processing accounts payable and receivable
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* BAS preparation and reporting support
* Payroll processing and superannuation compliance
* Assisting with month‑end processes and reporting
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders across multiple teams
* Supporting system improvements and efficient use of technology

About You

You are a collaborative and experienced bookkeeper who enjoys working with people as much as systems. You will bring:

* 3+ years' bookkeeping experience, ideally in a professional services environment
* Strong Xero expertise (essential)
* A genuine interest in technology and process improvement
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working within a large team
* A flexible, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
