We'renowseekingan experienced and influential Head of Safety to lead our Safety,Wellbeingand Injury Management team. This is a critical senior leadership role for a proven safety leader who canoperatestrategically, influence at Executive and Board level, and embed a genuineSafety-Firstculture across a multi-site FMCG operation.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer andoperatingas a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Safety provides thought leadership and strategic direction across health, safety, wellbeing, foodsafetyand injury management. You will shape and deliver enterprise-wide strategies that protect our people, meet regulatory requirements, and support productivity and sustainable business performance.
What's the Scoop?
* Setting and delivering Bulla's Safety & Wellbeing strategy, aligned to businessobjectivesand risk profile
* Providingexpert safety advice to the Executive team and Board, including reporting to Risk & Compliance Committees
* Leading the evolution of a proactive, accountableSafety-Firstculture across all sites
* Ensuring compliance with national OH&S legislation, safety managementsystemsand hazard controls
* Overseeing incident management, investigations, audits, riskassessmentsand corrective actions
* Leading Workers Compensation and Injury Management strategies to improve outcomes and reduce costs
* Driving strong integration of food safety and quality principles into day-to-day decision-making
* Acting as a visible, values-led leader and ambassador for Bulla's family culture and DE&I commitments
What You'll Bring:
* Credible, influential safety leaderoperatingeffectively at strategic and operational levels
* Strong commercial acumen with sound judgement in complex, fast‐paced environments
* Proven ability to engage, challenge, and influence Executive, Board, and senior stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience leading safety functions within FMCG or operational settings
* Strong coaching and people leadership capability, witha track recordof building high‐performing teams
* Tertiary qualifications in OHS (or related discipline) with deep knowledge of Australian OH&S and Injury Management legislation
* Data‐driven, solutions‐focused mindset with high attention to detail and a strong focus on improved safety outcomes
