People and Culture Systems and Reporting Manager

Salary + Super + 10 Additional leave days per yr

ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a visionary People Systems and Reporting Manager to lead the strategic direction and optimisation of our HR technology platforms and data capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of people, transformation, and technology, driving enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance team member experience, enable data-driven decision-making, and support workforce planning. Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for People (HR) systems aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead governance frameworks for People systems and data to ensure scalability, consistency, and compliance.
- Oversee system upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Partner with People & Culture and business leaders to implement technology-enabled people solutions.
- Drive enterprise transformation through enhanced systems and data capabilities.
- Deliver enterprise-wide reporting and analytics that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy legislation and internal policies through audits and risk assessments.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in HR, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in a management role within large, complex organisations.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
- Solid expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM).
- Skilled in data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with a solid understanding of data privacy regulations.
- Demonstrated success in project management and system implementation.
- Experience in Defence or similar industries highly desirable.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
