As we continue to strengthen our commercial capability and support disciplined, sustainable growth, we are seeking a permanent full-time Contract & Commercial Specialist to join our Corporate team based in Bunbury.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting MGM's commercial governance, tender coordination, contract management and financial modelling capability.
You will work closely with operational, finance and leadership teams to analyse contracts, coordinate tender responses, assess commercial risks and build structured financial models that support informed decision-making.
This is a specialist role with no direct reports.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate and administer RFQ and RFT processes, including commercial inputs and pricing schedules
* Analyse current and proposed contracts to identify commercial, financial and operational risk
* Provide structured commercial guidance to internal stakeholders
* Liaise with external legal advisors where required
* Support evaluation and negotiation processes
* Assist in monthly claim analysis and submissions
* Build and maintain MGM's commercial modelling suite using real-time operational and financial data
* Develop pricing structures and scenario modelling to support new and prospective work
* Monitor contract KPIs and support dispute resolution processes
* Maintain accurate contract registers and governance documentation
* Support commercial input into growth initiatives and high-risk transactions

Knowledge & Skills Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contract management, commercial analysis, procurement or legal disciplines
* Demonstrated contractual, commercial and financial experience
* Experience within heavy industry, mining services, transport or logistics (preferred)
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement capability
* Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong attention to detail and governance discipline
* Ability to interpret complex contract terms and translate them into practical guidance
