The Why
The Head of Relationship Management will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Procurement team, who own the supplier relationship end to end and ensure suppliers are selected, onboarded and performing to KPIs and being renewed and optimised in order to achieve Ubank's ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the Ubank procurement strategy and key processes
* Segment and simplify our suppliers based on strategic importance, risk, and value contribution
* Drive innovation through strategic partnerships and supplier collaboration
* Establish and lead supplier governance and relationship management frameworks as well as performance metrics
* Develop robust supplier lifecycle management practices including onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring and offboarding
* Act as an escalation point for complex supplier issues, including contractual disputes, risk, and performance concerns
* Ensure compliance with APRA CPS 230 and 234, other relevant third-party risk management regulations, and standards within the Group
* Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation and commercial efficiency
* Negotiate high value contracts and ensure favourable terms and conditions
* Manage contract lifecycle including renewals, amendments, and compliance
Your Experience
Knowledge and solid experience within Financial Services particularly around:
* Procurement or supplier relationship management (10+ years) across both Digital Business and Technology platforms.
* Experience within the Banking & Financial Services industry advantageous
* Deep understanding of third party risk management and compliance obligations along with regulatory expectations
* Experience influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally to balance commercial, risk and strategic outcomes
* Negotiation experience to deliver value on price, service levels, innovation, risks sharing and continuous improvement
* Project management
* People leadership
* Strong commercial acumen
