Gold Fields – St Ives is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Supervisor to join their Surface Mining Maintenance Team.
Reporting to the Coordinator: Mobile Maintenance, you will oversee scheduled work and priority unplanned jobs, providing crew leadership, quality assurance, and quality control (QAQC). You will work within cost and equipment availability targets for surface mining equipment.
This role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, alternating with 7 nights on, 7 days off. It is open to residential candidates in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie, or FIFO from Perth.

About The Role
Manage the daily activities of the Surface Mobile Maintenance team efficiently, ensuring performance targets are met.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure safety and production standards are maintained.
Develop and monitor maintenance procedures, processes, and technology for safe and efficient asset operation.
Maintain good relationships with external service providers to ensure availability of critical parts and equipment.
Provide leadership and mentoring to team members, utilizing the Performance Management System.
Use SAP or similar tools to monitor asset reliability, availability, and costs.
About You
* C' Class Driver's License
* Experience with Komatsu and Cat surface mining equipment
* Strong diagnostic skills, experience with Cat-ET, SIS, Cummins Insite, Komtrax preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Trade qualification with at least 3 years leadership experience in mining
* Experience with AMT, SAP, INX, Word, Excel, and ICAM investigations
* Knowledge of mine safety and inspection regulations
* Experience in planned maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance
