Title: Capture Manager – Deployable ICT
Location: This is a permanent full‑time position and can be based in either Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute winning strategies – create compelling value propositions, competitive intelligence portfolios, and teaming approaches to maximise our probability of success.
* Lead multi‑disciplinary teams – guide subject‑matter experts, engineers, commercial, finance, and business development professionals through all phases of the capture process.
* Drive proposal excellence – work closely with our Proposal Management team to oversee the development of compliant, persuasive, and customer‑focused proposals.
* Engage stakeholders – foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, customers, and industry collaborators to strengthen KBR’s market position.
* Ensure compliance and integrity – manage risks, uphold governance, and ensure adherence to all internal and client requirements.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
* Proven experience in capture management, bid management, or business development within the Australian Defence industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire cross‑functional collaboration.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing capture strategies.
* A solid understanding of Defence/Government acquisition processes and capability development principles.
* Experience managing complex projects and budgets.
* Familiarity with proposal writing and development processes.
* Australian citizenship and the ability to hold (or a history of holding) a minimum NV1 security clearance.
