Logistics Operations Manager

The Role

As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations to ensure the fulfillment and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) for internal and external customers.

This includes overseeing team rosters and labor scheduling, implementing safety frameworks, compliance measures, and standard work procedures (SWPs), as well as continuously seeking improvement opportunities across the facility.

We are looking for an experienced leader who can inspire and motivate their team to deliver exceptional results.

* Protect throughput and honour SLAs to all customers as specified in the SLA document
* Provide people and labour requirements based on business forecasts to support proactive workforce planning, and report on variances

Safety First

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees and customers. As Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Risk Assessments (RAs), Safe Working Procedures (SWPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in consultation with OH&S representatives and team members.

You will also maintain schedules for equipment and infrastructure maintenance to ensure operational readiness and provide real-time coaching and feedback to team leaders and supervisors.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuous improvement and innovation. As Logistics Operations Manager, you will lead initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive efficiency and productivity.

You will assess IT equipment needs and coordinate with Infrastructure Manager for scalability and develop and execute operational plans aligned with company growth, service expectations, and cost-efficiency goals.
