Role Purpose
Our Ipswich Office offers a unique and interesting full-time role where you will enjoy a dynamic blend of legal secretarial and administrative support including client contact, teamwork, data entry, and reception duties. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career while serving the community.
About You
* You bring at least three years of experience in a professional, legal, justice, or community services environment, complemented by a Certificate III or higher in Administration or an equivalent qualification.
* Your minimum typing speed is 60 words per minute.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients is highly valued.
* You demonstrate resilience, organisational skills, and energy in your work.
* Additionally, you are prepared to provide at least two professional references.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional secretarial and administrative support. You will assist with preparation of court documents, lodging Legal Aid applications online, data processing, and reception duties. You will also engage in frequent liaison with teams across Queensland to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Work a 35-hour week as standard; above-award conditions apply.
