Workshop Lead – People-Focused Leadership Role
Witmore Workshop has long been a cornerstone for supported employment in the Hunter. We specialise in delivering professional, high-quality products and services while providing training and meaningful job opportunities for people with disabilities.
From manufacturing and commercial services to specialised projects, the workshop continues to prove that ability - not disability - is what defines success.
About the Role
The Workshop Lead plays a key leadership role on the workshop floor, providing daily coordination, structure and support to ensure people feel safe, supported and set up for success.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role that combines direct support with strong organisational and administrative oversight. You will work closely with supported employees and support workers, providing clear direction, encouragement and leadership while ensuring work is planned, prioritised and delivered to a high standard.
You will be confident managing workflows, documentation and communication, while maintaining a calm, positive and well-organised workshop environment. You will oversee orders of Hardwood products to confidential shredding to large scale Expo bag packaging and everything in-between
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm reporting into our new Social Enterprise and Programs Manager.
