We are looking for a senior chef de partie or Sous chef to join our team.
We are seeking a responsible, efficient & reliable leader to assist the head chef with the purpose of running the day to operations of the kitchen. This includes:
Food Preparation and Cooking, Supervision of staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
Handling inventory and stock management, including ordering supplies and ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and stored correctly.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work closely with the Head Chef to coordinate kitchen activities and ensure smooth operations during service.
Culinary Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to effectively supervise and train junior staff.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
Culinary Education: A culinary degree or equivalent experience is often preferred.
We are looking for a full time applicant but would consider casual employment.

Pay: $56,069.16 – $78,138.35 per year
