Electrical Test Engineer Position Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires an individual with strong electrical testing skills to join our team. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out periodic inspections and tests on commercial installations to ensure they are safe and compliant with industry regulations.
* Perform routine electrical tests on commercial premises.
* Collaborate with the technical team to identify areas of improvement.
* Carry out remedial works where necessary.
* Produce accurate reports to demonstrate compliance with quality standards.
* Undertake PAT testing as required.
* Maintain test equipment and company vehicles in good working order.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a recognized electrical qualification, ideally with significant experience as a time-served tester. You should also have a solid understanding of health and safety legislation and be committed to ongoing professional development. Additionally, you will require a full UK driving license.
* Relevant electrical qualification and/or experience.
* AM2/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical certification.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and H&S best practices.
* Ability to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and requirements.
* Valid UK driver's license.
