We're seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner to join phs Group, the UK's largest hygiene services provider. If you have experience in collating and providing meaningful financial analysis, reporting, and advice, along with excellent communication skills to deliver clear management information, we invite you to be part of our success.
This role is varied and engaging, playing a key part in the leadership, management, and growth of the business. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing proactive financial analysis and advice on operational and commercial decisions, including pricing, investments, acquisitions, and cost tracking.
2. Supporting the management team in developing the business within approved plans.
3. Delivering clear management information to senior leadership, interpreting data, and identifying trends and implications.
4. Assisting with budget preparation, monthly trading packs, and presenting results to the Group CEO/CFO.
5. Coordinating budgeting and forecasting, providing analysis and commentary.
6. Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring data accuracy.
7. Collaborating on pricing strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
8. Working with credit control and sales teams to meet targets.
Candidate Profile:
* Proactive self-starter based in Midlands
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
* Experience in business partnering within senior management
* Skilled in analyzing profitability, KPIs, and ratios
* Strong commercial awareness and risk evaluation skills
* Exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships with senior managers
* Open, honest, and constructive in communication
* Financial management experience in a multi-site B2B service organization
