Job Summary

You will be a highly experienced versatile Senior Manager who will take leadership in the key operational requirements managing our key stakeholders right down to our people – we are all important. You will lead a diverse large business entity inclusive of all roles within our Transport business unit, inclusive of supervisors and staff encompassing Bus Drivers, Passenger Facilitations Agents and Baggage Trolley Collectors – namely Carbridge and Easy Cart, and to deliver exceptional Client Management to client being BrisbaneAirport terminals.

In this highly visible role, you will inspire high performing teams, manage customer relationships, and work closely with the leadership team to maximise performance and culture across the areas of safety, efficiency, reliability, and service delivery to build business success and profitability.

Your activities

* Identify, develop and implement innovative service delivery models and process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency and customer experience across transport and easy cart operations.
* Lead structured continues improvement inactivates using data, performance metrics, and frontline to optimise workforce deployment, fleet utilisation and cost control.
* Champion and embed change management strategies that support operational transformation digital adoption, and cultural alignment within a safety‐critical aviation environment.
* Identify new service opportunities, value‐add solutions, and operational enhancements client partnerships and improve contract performance.
* Ensure effective communication of operational and business‐related information with the team.
* Ensure that personal targets (scorecards) are translated to relevant targets for direct reports and that direct reports (and all leaders) understand performance expectations.
* Ensure the team achieves defined key performance criteria.
* Safe operations and ensuring processes are in place for team.

Your profile

* High corporate aptitude with multidisciplinary skills focused on integral stakeholder engagement and management, this role requires key relationship management within multi‐client airport operations, as well as strong leadership skills.
* Leadership experience in a fast‐paced, safety and compliance focused service operation, managing the needs of multiple clients with divergent requirements.
* In depth knowledge of industry trends and developments and how they can be strategically employed to drive success to the business.
* High level written and oral communication skills with verbal reasoning, and interpersonal skills with the aptitude to be able to coach and motivate a team and individuals.
* Ability to demonstrate high level personal qualities in relation to adaptability, flexibility, and commitment – with a streamlined process ensuring outcomes are met.
* Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills, capable of working with minimal direction, under pressure and within strict timeframes, displaying initiative and motivation.
* Knowledge of enterprise bargaining agreements and application in the workplace.
* Practical knowledge of industrial relations processes including disciplinary procedures.
* Experience in developing and implementing business improvements and change management strategies.
