We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Grid Connections Advisory to lead and grow a team of technical experts within our advisory services business.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality support to clients navigating grid connections across the National Electricity Market.
You will provide strategic leadership, technical and commercial advice, and drive business growth through client engagement and business development.
The role combines client relationship management, engineering, project oversight, and commercial negotiation to ensure successful project delivery and high client satisfaction.

You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in engineering and business development, particularly within the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
You thrive in client-facing roles and have a proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and build long-term relationships.
Your expertise spans technical, commercial, and regulatory domains, and you are passionate about delivering value through innovative solutions and sound advice.
About your skills
You bring excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Your problem-solving capabilities enable you to navigate complex project challenges, and you are proficient in emerging technologies, power systems, and renewable energy.
You are adaptable, responsive to change, and skilled in consulting stakeholders through evolving project scopes and requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical), Business Administration, or a related field, with demonstrated capability through relevant qualifications and past employment experience.
Desired experience
Proven experience in consulting, leading teams, and managing projects to successful completion
Strong background in stakeholder management and business development within the electricity sector
Leadership experience in asset management and customer connection teams
Expertise in contract negotiations and legal interpretations
In-depth understanding of legislative, regulatory, and policy frameworks affecting customer connections
Experience in regulatory pricing and revenue risk management
Demonstrated success in preparing grid connection advisory bids with market insights
