An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join a high-performing platform team focused on building and scaling next-generation cloud and AI capabilities.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI-first engineering, cloud architecture, automation, and platform innovation. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and operating modern AI platforms while partnering with engineers, architects, and application teams across the business.
What you'll be doing:
* Designing and implementing secure, scalable AI platform architectures on AWS
* Driving automation, governance, and cloud optimisation initiatives
* Embedding AI capabilities into core systems and engineering workflows
* Building reusable platform patterns and improving engineering maturity
* Mentoring engineers and championing modern cloud-native practices
* Supporting operational excellence and long-term platform sustainability
What we're looking for:
* Deep expertise across AWS cloud services, infrastructure, networking, and security
* Strong hands‐on experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud-based AI architectures
* Advanced Python development skills and API integration experience
* Proven ability to deliver scalable and cost-optimised solutions
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Passion for mentoring and uplifting engineering teams
