The Role
Central Coast Motor Group's Gosford Service Department is recruiting first‑year apprentices for the 2026 intake.
Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic : you will learn and be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Conduct diagnostic and fault‑finding processes.
* Identify mechanical issues and determine repair methods.
* Complete general servicing and maintenance tasks.
* Meet industry standards and company expectations on quality and efficiency.
* Road‑test vehicles to identify performance concerns and verify repairs.
* Complete relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will undertake an Apprenticeship and must be motivated to commit to study requirements.
* Comfortable working as part of a team and autonomously.
* Effective written, verbal and numeracy skills.
* Valid NSW driver's licence or able to obtain one by January 2026.
* Permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
* Capable of working efficiently and to a high standard in a busy environment.
* Perform technical skills to a high standard.
