About the Opportunity
A reputable healthcare institution is seeking a Security Protection Specialist to join their team. The role involves collaborating with others to manage patient safety, providing assistance to visitors and ensuring staff security.
Duties Include:
 * Conducting proactive vehicle and foot patrols
 * Operating security equipment including CCTV in the Security Control Room
 * Responding swiftly to emergencies
 * Completing detailed incident reports using PC systems
Essential Qualifications:
 * Holding a valid NSW Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A and an Australian C-Class driver's license
 * Ability and willingness to participate in rotating 12hr shift work, day and night
 * Demonstrating computer literacy at a data entry level as well as ability to operate electronic security systems
 * Displaying understanding of the application of security techniques including conflict resolution skills, de-escalation and restraint practices
