Team
In Northern Tasmania, a new Research and Innovation Centre has been established, offering dedicated spaces for research, clinical trials and research education activities.
This state‐of‐the‐art facility is the largest of its kind in regional Australia, occupying an entire floor within a purpose‐built area at the Launceston General Hospital precinct.
The centre includes specialised areas to support clinical trials, including feasibility assessments, recruitment facilitation, business and account management, as well as dedicated offices for ethics and governance.
The Clifford Craig Research and Innovation Centre houses both the Clifford Craig Foundation that funds medical research and the Research Unit, serving as a showcase for collaborative funding and partnerships in research and clinical trials. It encompasses the full spectrum of research activity—from securing funding to study completion.
