About the role
Our client is looking for an ambitious Payroll Officer reporting through to the Payroll Manager to join their growing employee workforce. This role will initially start to help out with Payroll Admin duties, and once settled into the position you'll be able to develop your end to end payroll skill set. This role is well suited for someone looking to kick start their payroll career.
The Responsibilities
Process time sheets, including overtime for casuals etc
Process staff movements including new starters, departures and other movements
Process bonuses and salary sacrifice requests, and checking to ensure payments have been made accurately
Preparing manual payments when required
Assisting Finance team on queries and reports
The successful applicant will have
Around 2 years experience in a payroll workplace would be ideal but not required.
Previous experience using Chris is an advantage
Solid Excel and numeracy skills
Willingness to learn a new role
Excellent communication skills
