Logistics, Warehouse and Inventory Manager
We aren't a traditional warehouse, we're a fast-growing, innovation-driven 4x4 brand known for building some of the toughest accessories in the market. We're looking for a Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory Manager who can bring structure, reliability, and leadership to our national operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll oversee the warehouse floor, improve systems, lead the team, and ensure strong performance across all freight, dispatch and inventory functions.
What You'll Own
Lead end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, pick/pack, dispatch, storage, and stock control.
Manage inventory systems, monthly stocktakes, reconciliations, and ensure ERP data accuracy.
Oversee all outbound freight (internal fleet and external carriers) to maintain strong DIFOT performance.
Develop delivery schedules, optimise routing, and ensure compliance with CoR and HVNL requirements.
Lead and develop the warehouse team through training, coaching, performance management, and workflow oversight.
Implement process automation, transitioning manual Excel workflows to integrated system-based solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
Manage fleet operations and support scaling activities as the business grows.
Coordinate daily domestic freight bookings in a cost-effective manner.
Liaise daily with the Thai factory team to confirm products and quantities being loaded for all Australian distribution centres.
Forecast container orders in collaboration with the GM and Branch Managers.
Manage and prioritise weekly stock transfers to branches.
Oversee inventory and stock movement transactions across all branches.
Reconcile freight estimates against actual invoices.
Coordinate efficient container unloading processes, ensuring timely allocation of stock and fulfilment of backorders.
Travel occasionally to NSW, WA, QLD, and future Hamer sites to support operational consistency.
What You Bring
Experience leading warehouse/logistics/inventory operations.
Minimum 2-4 years of warehouse/logistics/inventory management experience (ideal).
Proven people-leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
Experience managing teams of 2-5 people (ideal).
Strong coordination, planning and problem-solving capability.
Solid ERP and inventory systems knowledge (SAP advantageous).
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Understanding of WHS, HVNL and Chain of Responsibility.
Forklift licence + full Australian working rights.
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
