Logistics Governance Officer - Communications Security
Communications Security Platoon (COMSEC PL) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Moorebank, NSW.
In this governance focused position, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with policy, legislation, and procedural frameworks, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy across governance documentation, reporting, disposal and auditing activities. You will provide expert advice to support decision-making, manage priorities under limited direction, and engage confidently with stakeholders in sensitive or high-level contexts.
In addition to governance responsibilities, you will also support limited logistics functions within the Equipment Distribution Authority (EDA), including oversight of inventory processes and co-ordination of secure equipment movements for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Whole of Australian Government. This role requires strict adherence to security protocols and confidentiality requirements, including compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations for all COMSEC-related activities.
Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to voluntarily undertake after-hours 'on-call' duties, which attract an additional financial benefit.
