FIFO opportunity with flexible arrangements. We are currently supporting a Tier 1 mining operation in the delivery of key projects across a complex and diverse portfolio. They're seeking an intermediate - senior level Project Controls/ Planning Specialist to join a collaborative team on-site. Travel covered from Townsville, Brisbane, or Darwin, offering the chance to contribute to high-impact work in a rewarding environment. 4/3 day roster with one week on one week work from home. You will be working across some 2-3 major projects that are expected to last 2+ years.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Managing and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
* Utilizing Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling
* Overseeing cost control processes and financial reporting
* Handling contract management tasks, including raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and contract variations
* Notifying relevant stakeholders of non-compliance or project issues
* Triggering processes to investigate, rectify, and prevent future issues
* Working within a split project portfolio alongside a team of 40 professionals
What You Bring:
* Proven experience using Primavera P6
* Strong background in cost control and project financials
* Experience managing NCRs, contract variations, and compliance processes
* Solid stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience on major projects or within a portfolio setting
