Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Agitator Driver to join our team. As an Agitator Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating an agitator truck to deliver premixed concrete to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of the concrete mixer to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
* Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including drivers' instructions.
* Assist with regular maintenance activities as directed by the production supervisor.
* Conduct regular inspections of the concrete in the mixer to ensure it conforms to the nominated specifications.
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as an agitator driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
* Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to lift heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
