Your new role
Your new role will be leading a team of 4 designers, allocating resources, managing briefs and ensuring projects are completed on-time and on budget. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of marketing operations by the wider Marketing team, allocating resources across our talented digital (UX, Social, Automation) and design teams in the business. Acting as central hub, you'll need experience of working in a design studio and strong people leadership qualities.
* Manage a range of internal and external stakeholders to balance competing priorities and commercial outcomes
* Balance studio resources and workload to schedule work effectively and deliver multiple, simultaneous projects on time
* Daily follow-up on outstanding briefs, debriefs and approvals ensuring projects stay on track
* Effectively communicate project status across both internal and external teams to ensure deadlines are met
* Maintain the effectiveness of the Project Management and Approval tools and support the delivery of training to ensure effective understanding of the tools across internal teams
* Manage print production via procurement system
* Manage warehouse stock levels and re-orders as required
* Manage associated production budgets including printing, warehousing and logistics with third-party vendors in accordance with financial processes
* Update artwork files as required (Essential)
* Periodic reporting of resources, priorities and workflow
* Lead and support the operations meeting to ensure priorities are managed and resourced effectively
What you'll need to succeed
* At least 6 years' experience in a Production Coordination, Traffic or Project Management role.
* Strong people management skills
* Ideally, a background working in a regulated environment - e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare etc.
* Experience with Adobe Workfront Project Management, Proof HQ system or similar
* Excellent understanding of the activities and operations of an in-house marketing department
