About the Role
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking skilled and compassionate Medical Practitioners to join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex and life‐threatening conditions, ensuring safe, evidence‐based, and patient‐centred care throughout their ICU journey. You will collaborate closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that support optimal outcomes for each patient.
Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in a fast‐paced, technologically advanced ICU environment.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence‐based treatment plans.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and allied health professionals.
* Participate in 12‐month rotations and subsequent allocations in alignment with training and SA Health requirements, including potential transfers to other SA Health locations.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
Demonstrated clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022.
