The Role
We're looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our Operations team in Armidale. This hands‐on role is responsible for the accurate fabrication of steel components used in our large-scale building projects. You'll work closely with supervisors and other trades to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll do
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Fabricate steel structures and components using a variety of tools and techniques.
* Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with WHS standards and company policies.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and productive workshop environment.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
About You
* Trade qualification in fabrication, welding, or metalwork (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in structural steel fabrication.
* Ability to read and work from detailed drawings.
* Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
* Forklift licence, EWP, or additional tickets (desirable but not essential).
