The Orthopaedic Institute (TOI) is a Medibank Joint Venture with a group of renowned orthopaedic surgeons (SydOrtho) and Macquarie University Hospital. It is a world-class orthopaedic surgical centre, comprising 28 beds and 4 operating suites focused on short-stay orthopaedic procedures.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Medical Liaison Officer to join the TOI team. In this pivotal role, you will lead engagement with General Practitioners, Specialists, and the community to strengthen referral pathways and promote TOI's services.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Building and nurturing strong connections with referring doctors and their teams
* Driving business development strategies and growth initiatives
* Coordinating educational and social events
* Developing marketing materials and managing communication channels
* Overseeing social media campaigns and responding to patient enquiries
This is a full-time permanent position, based on-site at Macquarie University Hospital in Macquarie Park, NSW, with some flexibility to work from home.

* A background in healthcare and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
* Strong business development and stakeholder engagement skills

* Confidence in achieving commercial targets and fostering collaboration
