About Tasmania Government
About the Tasmanian State Service
The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
This role involves providing project leadership in planning, development, coordination, and implementation of recommendations from the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government’s Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings. The focus is on enhancing Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) responses and programs.
The position specifically supports coordinated planning and implementation of activities for improved mental health responses for children and young people, including those in Out of Home Care and involved with Youth Justice Systems, as well as planning for the proposed child and adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Programs.
The role requires delivering high-level strategic advice to a broad range of stakeholders and collaborating with the CYMHS leadership team and project managers to ensure strategic programs are delivered consistently and integrated.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional experienced in driving cross-sector mental health system change and enhancement activities as part of the broader CYMHS Reform program.
