Join a leading global freight forwarder that is at the forefront of the logistics and transportation industry. Due to ongoing growth and commitment to excellence, our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to join their Adelaide team.
**Day to day**:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of warehouse operations, including stock levels, inbound and outbound shipments.
- Provide updates to customers regarding shipment statuses and resolve any queries related to logistics processes.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) effectively; experience with CargoWise is highly advantageous.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to warehouse operations as needed.
**We are looking for**:
- Proven experience in a warehousing or logistics environment with a strong emphasis on record keeping and administration.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems; experience with CargoWise will be considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the capability to provide high-quality customer service.
- Understanding of the operational flow within a warehouse setting, including stock management, and inbound and outbound logistics.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
